I just started this thing, so that is the start; however, I have been through a lot so, this might be near the end.
Hmmm.... Confused yet? I am.

Ok, onto a quick introduction.

I am currently working in a civilian job; however, I have spent the last 17 years in the military.
From 1988 to 1996 I spent in the United States Marine Corps.
I served in the Persian Gulf War. A Lance Corporal - LCPL.
In the reserves I earned my CPL stripe.

During college, I was in the Marine Reserves, but as military cuts hit hard during Clinton's administration, I was left out in the cold.

A buddy of mine said hey! Join the National Guard with me. Of course now I am a Lieutenant in the National Guard and my buddy, I think he is in the Navy (A Squid).

I just returned from Iraq a couple of months ago - still trying to adjust to civilian life. It is hard, I'll have to admit. Most people do not know what is really going on over there. I know that I have served in two wars and a government overthrow, but this one was definately different than the first war.

More bloodshed would be a quick difference. And I was a LCPL in that war and now I am a Lieutenant.

Oh well, I will keep it short and write more later.
